Ich beschäftige mich in meinen farbintensiven digitalen Bildcollagen mit existenziellen und gesellschaftspolitischen Fragen und untersuche das fragile Verhältnis zwischen Mensch, Umwelt und Natur. In der Konfrontation unversöhnlicher Gegensätze, die ich überlagere und verdichte, erschaffe ich neue, surreale Bildwelten. So entstehen visuelle Spannungsräume, in denen Schönheit und Bedrohung, Wachstum und Zerstörung aufeinandertreffen und gleichzeitig präsent sind. Darstellungen kleiner unscheinbarer Dinge der Natur am Wegesrand zeigen auf, mit welcher Ignoranz wir über diese in unserem Alltag hinweggehen. Meine Arbeiten verstehen sich als surrealistische Interventionen im Diskurs um Klima und Umwelt, als Einladung, Wahrnehmung neu zu justieren und Verantwortung zu reflektieren.

Die Sprache der Kunst kann auf Missstände aufmerksam machen und durch die künstlerische Auseinandersetzung mit einem Thema ungewöhnliche Fragen aufwerfen. Kunst sollte also nicht nur im ästhetischen Raum schweben.

Ich arbeite ausschließlich mit eigenem fotografischem Bildmaterial. Mit Fotografien, die keine Fotografien sein wollen, sondern an Malerei und alte Drucktechniken erinnern. Das Ausgangsmaterial wird zum Material meiner eigenen Bildsprache.

Ich werde 20 teilweise mehrteilige Arbeiten zeigen.

In my colour-intensive digital image collages I engage with existential and socio-political questions and explore the fragile relationship between humans, the environment, and nature. Through the confrontation of irreconcilable opposites, which I layer and condense, I create new, surreal visual worlds. This results in visual tension spaces where beauty and threat, growth and destruction meet and coexist simultaneously. Representations of small, inconspicuous things from nature along the roadside highlight the ignorance with which we overlook them in our daily lives. My works are understood as surrealist interventions in the discourse on climate and environment, inviting a recalibration of perception and reflection on responsibility.The language of art can draw attention to injustices and pose unusual questions through artistic engagement with a topic. Therefore, art should not only float in the aesthetic realm. I exclusively work with my own photographic material, using photographs that do not want to be photographs but rather evoke painting and old printing techniques. The source material becomes the basis of my own visual language.

I will present 20 partially multi-part works.
